About Us
Siniya Alumni Forum is constituted as a non-partisan and non-profit Forum whose ultimate power vests in its members. The Forum reaches out to Old Boys of Kigezi College Butobere in a bid to restore the glory of SINIYA.
Launching of Siniya Alumni Forum
SINIYA Alumni Forum was launched on 6th August 2011 by the then Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda Hon. Amama Mbabazi at Hotel Africana.
The Forum was since tried it’s best to involve Old Boys of Kigezi College Butobere in a bid to restore the glory of SINIYA.
Strategies
- Introduction of a Bursary Scheme for the best performers but needy students joining Senior one and Senior five.
- Motivation for teachers by giving them termly allowances.
- Rewarding teachers whose subjects are performed best at UCE and UACE.
- Rewarding best performing students at both UCE and UACE.
- Facilitating Examiners and Motivational Speakers to visit the school at least once a year preferably in the third term to boost students academically.
- Prominent OBs to host SINIYA Fellowships where progress, challenges and prospects of the school are discussed and deliberations made. Fundraising also becomes a component in these gatherings.
- SINIYA Day to always be held at the school grounds each year.

Infrastructure
A good learning environment is only complete if there are convenient spaces for use. These include Classrooms, Dormitories and Washrooms.
Academics
Support Academic performance by enabling the learning environment. A rich Library, Laboratories and Teachers’ welfare are key to achieve this goal.

Your contributions and / or sponsorships will not only help improve enrollment at Kigezi College Butobere, but also create hope for the hopeless yet able young lads in the community around Siniya. Improved Staff Welfare will also motivate the teachers to give their best to these learners which will in turn translate to better grades.

We implore all Basiniya to give generously to the Forum to help meet costs of our causes to revive Kigezi College Butobere.

We have put in place a scheme where individual Basiniya choose to sponsor as many needy but brilliant students as they wish to help improve the quality of enrollment at Siniya.

Your monthly contributions to SAF causes help to improve the wellbeing of Siniya staff. We would love to support them financially as well as making their quarters habitable,
